The prices of E5 RON 92 petrol were reduced by VND1,600 to VND21,900 per litre while RON 95 petrol fell by VND1,800 to VND23,040 per litre.These are the lowest prices announced over the past two months.

Oil prices were also reduced, with diesel oil and kerosene cut by VND1,180 and VND1,350 to VND22,410 and VND22,460 per litre, respectively. Prices of mazut also fell by VND 1,220 per kilo to VND16,230 per kilo.

This was the second decrease in fuel prices after continuous price hikes over the past three months. Petrol prices saw seven increases between July 3-October 1 before a slight decrease was made on October 2.
