The rainfall in Quang Phu Commune in Quang Dien District reached up to 506mm.
Lots of streets in Hue City like Pham Thi Lien, Ngo Duc Ke, Dang Dung, Nguyen Chi Dieu and Nguyen Trai were seriously inundated.
The same situation happened in Phong Dien District. Several areas were flooded by 70 cm-1.2 metres.
On some roads in Huong Tra Town’s Huong Van Ward, people even used boats to travel.
This morning, all nursery, primary and secondary schools in Huong Van Ward had to close.
The central regions of Vietnam have been forecasted to struggle with the heavy rains in some days to come.
