The northern region of Vietnam has been forecasted to experience a light cold front from this evening, October 9.
According to the National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the lowest temperature of the northern and northern central regions from Tuesday would be between 18-24 degrees centigrade. Some northern mountainous areas would have a temperature of 16 degrees centigrade.
Hanoi’s temperature would fall to a pleasant 22-28 degrees centigrade.
Meanwhile, the Central Highlands and southern regions would see more rain on October 10-12, mostly focusing on the afternoon and evening.
Storm Koinu would continue weakening on the East Sea when entering the southwest of China’s Hainan Island. It has been predicted to weaken into a tropical depression on October 11.
This year, the northern and central regions would experience less severe cold fronts than many previous years.
