According to the organiser, runners will start between 3.30-10.30 am on October 22, taking 5km - 10km - 21km - 42km distance through some of the most beautiful coastal roads along Phan Thiet-Mui Ne, and Nguyen Dinh Chieu to enjoy the sunrise sceneries and the atmosphere at local fishing villages.
"This will be a good chance for runners to explore the beautiful sites, cultures and food of the city," the organiser said. "
Runners will start and finish at the Mui Ne Summerland Resort on Vo Nguyen Giap Street.
Speaking at the launching ceremony held on October 6, Vice chairman of Phan Thiet City People's Committee, Nguyen Nam Long who is head of the organising board said that through this sport event, they want to promote physical activities among the communities at the same time introduce the beautiful sceneries and rich cultures of Phan Thiet and Binh Thuan to more visitors.
"We want to make it an annual event to further advertise Phan Thiet tourism," Long said.
To make the event more meaningful, the organiser will co-operate with Enjoy Sport in their photography services to raise funds for the Operation Smile Organisation to provide free surgery for children with cleft lip, cleft palate.
