Petrol retail prices slightly fell from October 2 following an adjustment by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Ministry of Finance.

The prices of E5 RON 92 petrol were reduced by VND695 to VND23,500 per litre while RON 95 petrol fell by VND900 to VND24,840 per litre.

Meanwhile, diesel oil and kerosene prices were kept unchanged at VND 23,594 per litre and VND 23,820 per litres, respectively. Prices of mazut slightly fell by VND 395 per kilo to VND17,450 per kilo.

This was the first decrease in fuel prices in three months. Petrol prices have seen seven increases since July 3.
