
The bag was found by a staff member at the airport, Tran Thi Hong Thuy, at 6.30 pm on September 28. Thuy said that while she was gathering the trolleys, she found a Michael Kors bag left on one of them. Thuy reported the finding to the airport security centre.

Checking the bag, authorities found over EUR8,000 notes, Ray Ban glasses, a Samsung mobile phone, a passport and other personal papers of a female passenger.
Noi Bai authorities contacted the passenger who came to receive her bag at 10.30 pm the same day.
Thuy said that she has worked in the airport for over 20 years and recounted many such cases.
According to Noi Bai Airport, passengers can call the security centre hotline at 02435842627 to report about missing luggages.
