According to Yen Dinh District’s Department of Education and Training, the school used two clusters of balloons for the ceremony. After the ceremony, teachers jointly flew balloons. At that moment, one of the fathers attending accidentally touched his burning cigarette against one balloon cluster, causing it to explode.
As a result, seven students received burns to their faces and arms. They have been sent to hospital for treatment.
