
Tropical Storm Saola enters the East Sea on August 30, becoming the third storm to hit the area.
At 4pm on August 30, the storm was moving northwest at a speed of 15 km per hour, causing wind speed of between 167-201 km per hour, the centre said.
It is forecasted that the storm's eye would be at the northeast of the East Sea, some 370 km southeast of Hong Kong on the afternoon of August 31. It will then lessen when it is some 100 km from Hong Kong.
The centre warned that the storm may cause rough seas with waves rising up to 8-10 meres in the East Sea from today, August 31.
