Casinos are asked to install cameras at the doors, game tables, cashiers, and containers of cash and conventional currency. They should keep the clips recorded by the cameras for at least 180 days.

The move came after the ministry conducted regular inspections at some local casino businesses and found some violations.

Some casinos were found to have violated Decree 121/2021/NĐ-CP when allowing people who are not eligible to play or causing social disorders.

The Ministry has also asked casino investors to inform local authorities of any changes in the management board.
