The list includes Noi Bai, Tan Son Nhat, Phu Quoc, Can Tho, Cat Bi, Van Don, Tho Xuan, Dong Hoi, Phu Bai, Phu Cat, Danang, and Cam Ranh.

Earlier on August 14, the Vietnamese government issued a new resolution which allowed visitors from 13 countries to stay in the country for 45 days instead of 15 days from entry, regardless of passport type or purpose of entry.

The 13 countries include Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the UK, Russia, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Belarus.

The resolution took effect on August 15.

Another resolution issued the same day stated that citizens from any country or territory could use e-visas to enter Vietnam, which also applied from August 15. A list of international border gates that allow foreign nationals to enter and exit using e-visas was also published.

The two resolutions are expected to smooth the country’s tourism and business activities.
