Three of the four women were flight attendants for Bamboo Airways and the other was a model.

At the police station, the four aged between 27-31 said that they were managed by Vo Thi My Hanh, a former Vietnam Airlines flight attendant and were paid between USD 1,000-3,000 each time they met clients.

Hanh, 26, also admitted to the police that she started developing the prostitution ring in 2021 while working as a flight attendant for Vietnam Airlines. She stopped working for the airline in October 2022 and was now managing 30 women who were all flight attendants and models. They all remained in contact through social networks.
