"Floods triggered by heavy rains from the evening of July 27 to July 28 together with the releasing of water from a local hydropower plant have seriously contaminated the water at Ngoi Dum Spring," the plant announced on July 28. "The water source has exceeded our processing capacity. We apologise for this incident and will try to supply water again as soon as the water source returns to normal quality."
