Two people were killed and six others injured in a traffic accident in the southern central province of Khanh Hoa.
The incident occurred early this morning on the Nha Trang-Cam Lam Expressway section that runs through Dien Khanh District’s Dien Tho Commune. A passenger bus transporting a group of people from HCM City to Quang Ngai hit a truck running in the same direction.

The crash seriously damaged the passenger bus. Several passengers managed to safely escape from the vehicle, but two died on the spot, including one assistant driver. Many of the passengers were left injured.
The newly-opened Nha Trang-Cam Lam Expressway is 49.1 kilometres long and allows vehicles to travel at a top speed of 80 kilometres per hour.
The bus driver tested negative for drugs and alcohol.
