Binh Duong firms need 20,000 more workers as orders return

The southern province of Binh Duong would need some 20,000 labourers from now until the year end as local firms have received more orders from customers.

The Yazaki EDS Vietnam Company in Di An City which specialises in automobile spare parts production is recruiting 785 manual workers aged between 18-40.

The Esprinta Vietnam Company which is based in Song Than 2 Industrial Zone in Di An City has also announced that they want to employ over 150 garment workers and technicians.

Many other companies are also publishing vacancies notices to recruit more workers for the rising number of orders coming during the year end.

According to the Binh Duong Provincial Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, the labour market has improved but is still lower than their expectations and targets set at the beginning of this year.

"It is estimated that local firms will need some 20,000 labourers by the year end, including 15,000 manual workers and 5,000 qualified employees," the department said. "Vacancies are mostly in the fields of trade & services, plastic industries, production-processing, and electromechanics."
