Roughly 600 kilos were exported to Japan, while some 500 kilos were supplied to the UK by air.

The lychees grown in Ngoc Lac, Thanh Hoa
According to the Thanh Hoa Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the lychees were jointly planted by Ho Guom - Song Am High Tech Agriculture Company and the Agricultural Genetics Institute in the northern central province of Thanh Hoa’s Ngoc Lac District. The plantation conformed to Vietnamese Good Agricultural Practices and Global Good Agricultural Practices standards.
Seedless lychees from four years old have a cycle of one year. This year has marked the firm’s first harvest of this kind of lychees. It is expected to harvest around 20 tonnes this year. The wholesale price for a kilo is VND170,000.
The lychees have been sold to different localities in the country, including Hanoi and HCM City.
