According to the National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting, at around 10 o’clock this morning, May 5, the tropical depression’s centre was in the sea off the Philippines’ Palawan Island with the wind speed of 39-49 kilometres per hour.

The tropical depression could enter the East Sea at around 10 am on Saturday. Between 48 and 72 hours later, the depression will mainly move west-northwestward.

The middle and south of the East Sea would have violent winds with waves of 2-3 metres high.

Around 11-13 tropical depressions and storms would affect the East Sea this year.
