Danang opens riverside road

The central city of Danang on Friday officially opened the Tuyen Son-Tuy Loan riverside road which connects the city centre and Hoa Vang District to mark the 48th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day

The central city of Danang on Friday officially opened the Tuyen Son-Tuy Loan riverside road which connects the city centre and Hoa Vang District to mark the 48th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30).

Tuyen Son-Tuy Loan riverside road is opened to traffic on April 28

As one of the city’s key traffic projects, the Tuyen Son-Tuy Loan Loan riverside road project was started in 2017 with a total investment of more than VND745 billion from the city budget.

The seven-kilometre road passes through Hoa Tho Tay and Hoa Tho Dong wards in Cam Le District, and Hoa Chau and Hoa Nhon communes in Hoa Vang District.

The road is expected to ease traffic flows for the Cach Mang Thang 8 and National 14B roads and boost socioeconomic development in Hoa Vang District.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Danang City People's Committee vice chairman Ho Ky Minh said that the Tuyen Son-Tuy Loan Loan riverside road would also help develop tourism in the city thanks to its pleasant views.
