After being saved from illegal wildlife trading across Vietnam, the animals were taken care of at the Save Vietnam’s Wildlife Centre. Their health condition improved sufficiently before being set free into the wild.

One of the pangolins has been released to the wild
The team from the Save Vietnam’s Wildlife Centre and the park travelled 600 kilometres from Ninh Binh to Pu Mat National Park in the central province of Nghe An for the release.
Among the animals, three are pregnant and one was born after being rescued.
The Sunda pangolin is named among critically endangered species in Vietnam.
Since being launched, the Save Vietnam’s Wildlife Centre has successfully rescued around 1,700 pangolins, making it the largest pangolin rescue unit worldwide.
