On the afternoon of April 14, rain started appearing in northern mountainous areas. The rainy weather then spread to the northern localities from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien-Hue with a rainfall of 15-70 mm.

On April 15-16, the lowest temperature in the northern and northern central regions would be between 20-22 degrees centigrade. Some northern mountainous areas would have a temperature of 20 degrees centigrade.

Meanwhile, some localities in the southern region of Vietnam would have rain between April 15-18.

The National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting has warned of whirlwinds, thunderbolts, hail and strong wind in low areas during the rain.

The cold weather would weaken from late April in the north, giving way to the hot weather.
