Located some 15 kilometres from the city centre, the Vietgangz Horse Club in Thu Duc City has attracted many people who want to try horse riding or racing.

A trainer, Ha Quang Huy, said that they had trainers who could speak several languages and horses imported from Australia, Holland, and the UK.

"We're open seven days a week to both adults and children aged from three years old," he said. "There are different rates for customers here with the lowest rate of VND 490,000 for new riders taking a 45-minute session. There are many training courses at different levels for people who love horse riding."

Besides the large racetrack, visitors here can also try fishing, archery, and camping.

A customer, Uyen Thu, said that she usually takes her 10-year-old daughter to experience new things.

"I find this an interesting sport which can help my daughter get to know a new animal and have fun," Thu said. "She really enjoyed it and wanted to attend a class."

Visitors should make reservations in advance for their 45-minute session. The club is usually busy from 6 am to 10 am and 3 pm to 6 pm.
