Saigon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company will offer a discount of 20 percent for around 5,000 tickets on some routes. Passengers need to buy this kind of ticket from 8 am on March 28 to April 23.

Discount tickets are valid for trains SE3/SE4 and SE7/SE8 on the Hanoi-HCM City route; trains SE21/SE22 on the Danang-HCM City route and SPT1/SPT2 linking Phan Thiet City in Binh Thuan and HCM City.
From March 20 and April 26, people who buy tickets for a whole carriage of four beds and six beds will enjoy a discount of 10 percent.
Saigon Railway Transport JSC has also planned to provide 10 more trains on the HCM City-Nha Trang and Nha Trang-Danang routes during the coming Reunification Day (April 30) and International Labour Day holidays.
Public workers in Vietnam will enjoy five consecutive days off to mark the Hung Kings Commemoration Day, Reunification Day, and International Labour Day, lasting from April 29 to May 3.
