The Chinese guests arrived at Lao Cai International Border Gate at around 2:30pm. Local authorities held a greeting ceremony for them.

Travel through Lao Cai International Border Gate is quite crowded, so they have to queue up to complete entry procedures.
Every day, the border gate serves around 3,000 people.
Some travel firms have arranged staff at the border gate to serve Chinese tourists.
Tran Duong Lam, director of Cuong Lam Travel Company, said that over the past two months, the firm has operated tours for the Chinese in small groups to the northern province of Quang Ninh. It has signed contracts to serve Chinese visitors after March 15.
