A truck plunged off the Ma Pi Leng Hill in the mountainous province of Ha Giang on Wednesday, killing the driver.

According to Meo Vac District police, the accident occurred on National Road 4C at 10 am on March 8 when the truck carrying plywood was running along Ma Pi Leng Hill. A landslide suddenly occurred on the road and the truck was swept off the road along with road barriers into a valley some 120 metres below.
The driver was found with various injuries in his cabin and was rushed to a local hospital. However, he died shortly after due to serious injuries, the police said.
Plywood was scattered over the valley.
