Fuel prices were again slightly reduced in the latest adjustment made by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance on Wednesday.
This was the second consecutive petrol price fall which was attributed to the falling prices in the global market.
Starting from 3 pm, the retail price of E5RON92 bio-fuel fell by VND120 to a maximum of VND22,420 per litre, and that of RON95-III was also cut by VND320 to VND23,320 per litre.
Kerosene declined by VND370 per litre to VND20,470 per litre and diesel dropped by VND550 per litre to VND20,250 per litre.
Meanwhile, mazut oil increased by VND300 per kilo to VND 14,550 per kilo.
The two ministries also determined plans to deduct VND200 to VND500 per litre from E5RON92 bio-fuel and diesel prices respectively for the Petrol Price Stabilisation Fund.
