Located on the second floor of a house at 66 Chua Lang Street, Dong Da District, the small library covers just over 40 square metres, but it contains lots of books in many fields.
A manager, Luu Van Don, said that he and a group of friends set up this non-profit project in 2019.
"We are a group of 10 friends who work in the same company and share the same love for books," Don said. "And we decided to start collecting books for the library and open it here."
The library soon attracted lots of book lovers. Besides reading books and using wifi for free, visitors are also offered free tea and coffee.
Ta Minh Ha, a 30-year-old office worker, said that she was a frequent visitor at the library.
"I come here whenever I have free time," Ha said. "I find it a nice place for both relaxing with my favourite novels or working with books on marketing and sales."
Ha Thi Le Quyen, a second-year-old student at the Hanoi University of Foreign Trade also shared that she came to the library quite often.

"This library helps me a lot as I don't have much money to buy books and I can find them here," Quyen said. "It has become a favourite place for many students like me to come and study. The library has helped popularise reading among younger people.”
Manager Don said that many visitors have also donated books to the library.
"We're happy that the library has received support from many people as we're seeing more visitors," he said. "We're trying to find more books for the library and many visitors have also contributed. It's great to see more people join us in promoting reading habits in our society.
The library opens daily from 9 am to 9 pm.
