Work on the Van Phuc, Thuong Cat, Tu Lien and Tran Hung Dao bridges has been scheduled to be kicked off by 2025.

Chuong Duong Bridge in Hanoi built over the Red River
The VND3.4 trillion (USD144.68 million) Van Phuc Bridge will be 7.7 kilometres long, linking Phung Thuong Commune in Hanoi’s outlying district of Phuc Tho and Vinh Phuc Province.
The section running through Hanoi will have four lanes, while the one located in Vinh Phuc will have eight lanes.
Thuong Cat Bridge has a total investment of VND9.4 trillion (USD400 million). The project’s feasibility study has been completed for submission to the Hanoi Department of Planning and Investment.
Tu Lien Bridge will be built between Nhat Tan and Long Bien bridges to help connect Tay Ho and Dong Anh districts.
The bridge will be 4.8 kilometres long, starting from Huu Hong Dyke in Dong Anh District and ending at the expanded National Highway 5.
Hanoi has also allowed the Him Lam Joint Stock Company to conduct a feasibility study of the Tran Hung Dao Bridge which will be invested under the public-private partnerships form.
The arch-shaped bridge is around 5.5 kilometres, running through the districts of Hoan Kiem, Hai Bai Trung and Long Bien.
Construction of Tran Hung Dao Bridges is slated to be finished by the second quarter of 2025.
Currently, Hanoi has seven bridges over the Red River.
