Last month, the highest tides were measured in Phu An and Nha Be areas with the water level 4cm higher than the 10cm during the same period of last year.
HCM City often experiences high tides which cause serious flooding for many local areas. It is common to see many local streets to be turned into rivers due to high tides.
The city is carrying out some anti-flooding project to improve the situation.
