Northern region to face new cold front

According to the National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting, the northern region’s weather is warming with a temperature of 16-23 degrees centigrade. On January 19-23, rain would decrease in many localities, providing more favourable weather for people to enjoy Tet. 

However, from January 24, a new cold front would hit the region.

The northern central region of Thanh Hoa and Nghe An would see cold weather in the coming days with lowest temperatures of 9-12 degrees centigrade.

Central localities from Ha Tinh to Quang Ngai have been forecasted to face rain with temperatures of 14-17 degrees centigrade.

The Central Highlands and southern regions would be sunny with highest temperatures of 31-34 degrees centigrade until January 26. Local people have been warned of high tides on January 21-26.

HCM City’s weather on January 22-24 would remain pleasant with highest temperatures of 29-33 degrees centigrade.
