Prices of petroleum products have slightly risen from 3 pm today, January 3, following an adjustment by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.

Petroleum prices slightly increase following latest adjustment on January 3
The retail prices of E5 RON 92 and RON 95 rose by VND330 and VND350 per litre to VND21,350 and VND22,150 respectively.
Mazut oil prices increased by VND110 to VND 13,740 per kilo, of kerosene rose by VND600 to VND 22,760 per litre. Meanwhile, diesel prices were kept unchanged at VND 22,150 per litre.
This is the first petroleum price rise after four previous decreases earlier.
The petrol price adjustment came after a new environment protection tax on gasoline took effect on January 1.
