
The event is part of a programme called Workers’ Day-Welcome Tet 2023 which began on Wednesday evening and is slated to end on December 30.


There will be 60 stalls at the market to offer hundreds of essential products to workers at preferential prices.
Eighteen businesses at local industrial parks will also use the event to promote 5,000 job vacancies. In addition, 20,000 workers in Hai Chau will be provided with medical check-ups. Around 4,800 gifts worth VND2.5 billion will be distributed to disadvantaged people.
Up to 18,850 vouchers for free goods will be provided to workers. Authorities in Hai Chau District will offer free bus tickets for poor workers to return to their hometown on Tet.
