The installation was opened on December 20 by Lam Dong Provincial Culture, Sports and Tourism in co-operation with museums in three neighbouring provinces of Dak Lak, Gia Lai, and Kon Tum.

More than 100 statues by local famous artists and sculptors are arranged among colourful flowers, attracting lots of visitors.

The works feature different themes such as daily life, nature, traditional rituals and customs, and festivals, among others.

Many visitors said they enjoyed the works which feature daily life activities by local people including farming, fishing, or growing forest.

Works that depict the traditional festivals of the ethnic groups in the area also attracted lots of visitors.
According to the organiser, most of the statues were made from trees grown in the area, using simple tools like knives and axes. The installation is organised during the Dalat Flower Festival and will last until December 25.
