An exhibition introducing the 20 most popular Danish interior designers of the past century and their works has just been opened in Vietnam.

Participants at the opening of the exhibition on December 6
The exhibition attracted the participation of Vietnamese and foreign designers, experts, university teachers, and entrepreneurs.
Speaking at the opening of the exhibition on December 6, Ambassador of Denmark in Vietnam, Nicolai Prytz, shared that Scandinavian interior design in general and Danish interior design in particular have gained increasing interest and respect in Vietnam for being functional yet chic, innovative yet simple, and timeless.
"I hope that through the exhibition ‘A Century of Danish Interior Design,’ audiences will gain a better understanding of Danish design culture, and get inspiration from the stories and iconic design works of talented Danish designers who have shaped the identity and influenced the development of the Danish interior design culture today,” he said.
The opening of the exhibition was followed by the seminar “Let’s Talk About Interior Design” in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, aimed at promoting the exchange of knowledge and experience between Danish and Vietnamese interior designers and practitioners.
The exhibition “A Century of Danish Interior Design” is now open for the public in both Hanoi (Complex 01, Alley 167 Tay Son, Hanoi) and Ho Chi Minh City (at C-space, 12-13 N1 street, Tan Thuan Processing Zone, D7, Ho Chi Minh City).
The exhibitions and seminars are part of a comprehensive cultural and public diplomacy programme undertaken by the Embassy of Denmark in Vietnam to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Denmark.
