According to the ministry's report, the national caseload has so far increased to 11,510,484.

On November 17, an additional 161 more patients recovered from the disease, raising the number of recoveries in the country to over 10.60 million.

On Thursday evening, no deaths from Covid-19 were recorded, the country's total fatalities stayed at 43,167, accounting for 0.4 per cent of total infections.

By November 17, the country had injected over 263 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines.

The Ministry of Health is calling on local authorities to continue administering Covid-19 vaccines as coverage lags in several localities.

According to the ministry, the third and fourth dose coverage for people over 18 years is at 78.50 per cent and 81.30 per cent.

Third-dose coverage for children from 12-18 years has reached 62 per cent.
