Right after being informed, local authorities sent 355 fire and rescue policemen to the site. The strong wind and rough terrain affected the work and it was only 9:30 this morning, November 3, that the fire was basically put under control.
The fire damaged around 1.45 hectares of forest
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
