Petroleum prices have fallen to a one-year low following a decision jointly released by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade on Monday.

From 3 pm on Monday, the retail prices of E5 RON 92 and RON 95 decreased by VND1,050 and VND1,140 per litre to VND20,730 and VND22,120 respectively.
Diesel declined by VND330 per litre to VND22,200, and the decrease was VND760 per litre to VND21,680 for kerosene and VND650 per kilo to VND14,090 for mazut oil.
So far this year, retail petroleum prices have been adjusted 26 times with 13 increases and 12 decreases.
This has been the ninth consecutive petroleum price drop since the beginning of July.
