
Hoi An City was flooded due to the impacts of Typhoon Noru on Wednesday. However, local people breathed a sigh of relief when the storm did not leave as serious damage as forecasted.

Foreign travellers explored the city as it recovered from the incident on September 28. They hired boats to travel around the city and took photos to capture moments of Hoi An people in the flooding.


A group of international tourists helped people in Hoi An to tidy up streets after being inundated.

Images of foreign tourists cleaning up on the Hoai River went viral on the social network, receiving public praise.

A Belgian tourist from the team said that this is an unforgettable memory for him to travel to Vietnam. He said people in Hoi An were very hard-working and resilient. He hoped that no one in the city had been injured by the storm.
