Vu Thi Nhuan from Thai Thuy District’s Thai Phuc Commune recently wrote to Dantri/DTiNews Newspaper.
The tumour appeared on her face when she was born. It was initially tiny but has become larger and larger.

Nhuan said that her father died when she was small. Meanwhile, her mother remarried, leaving her to stay with her paternal mother since then.
Due to the family’s financial difficulties, she has never received treatment. So her condition has worsened.
Because of her distorted face, she remains at home because of her lack of confidence.
Nhuan’s neighbour Vu Van Doan said that he sought to contact some hospitals over her case, but her family couldn’t afford the treatment. He hoped that through Dantri/DTiNews Newspaper, donors could assist her.
Vu Van Luu, chairman of Thai Phuc Commune, said that local authorities had called on people to support Nhuan but help had remained modest.
