According to the ministry's report, the national caseload has so far increased to 11,448,034.

On September 14, an additional 45,328 more patients recovered from the disease, raising the number of recoveries in the country to over 10.39 million.

On Wednesday evening, no deaths from Covid-19 were recorded, the country's total fatalities stayed at 43,132, accounting for 0.4 per cent of total infections.

By September 14, the country had injected nearly 259 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on September 13 chaired a meeting of the national steering committee for Covid-19 prevention and control, highlighting the importance of issuing the Government’s Resolution 128 on making Vietnam’s response to the pandemic more flexible. He said it was key to the work and to socio-economic recovery and development.
