The retail prices of E5 RON 95 and E5 RON 92 petrol fell by VND1,020 and VND1,120 per litre to VND23,210 and VND22,230.

Each litre of diesel and kerosene has fallen by VND1,000 and VND1,030 per litre to VND24,180 and VND24,410. Meanwhile, each kilo of mazut oil has been decreased by VND1,040 to VND15,030.


So far this year, Vietnam has adjusted petroleum prices 23 times, including 13 rises and 10 decreases.

Over the past week, petroleum prices have fallen because of concerns of a possible interest rate hike by the US Federal Reserve. The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic in China has also slowed demand for fuel.
