According to the National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting, the northern region would see rainfall of between 100-300 mm on September 9-12.

On August 8-9, Hanoi would see rain with strong winds with rainfall of more than 100 mm in some areas.

Low and mountainous areas in the northern region have been warned of whirlwinds, thunderstorms, and violent winds during rain.

Meanwhile, localities from the central province of Thua Thien-Hue to the southern central province of Binh Thuan and the Central Highlands and southern regions are facing rain which has been predicted to ease from tomorrow, September 8.
