Tan Son Nhat International Airport in HCM City is expected to serve 68,000 passengers today, National Day, September 2.

Around 35,000 passengers belong to departure flights and 33,000 are from arrival flights.
Some 3,000 passengers passed through the airport between 6 am and 8 am. It was followed by the time from 2 pm to 3 pm with 2,600 passengers.
According to a representative from the airport, this morning, despite the sharp rise in passenger numbers, the airport was not crowded thanks to the good preparations and cooperation from different units.
On September 1, the airport’s passenger number was around 49,000.
Meanwhile, Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi served 76,000 passengers with 414 flights on September 1, up 20 percent from usual. This led to congestion in some areas of the airport.
