A representative from Dinh Cong Ward’s Police Station said that on the same day, the police came to most of the local restaurants and beer venues as part of the publicity drive.

The district’s authorities have even set up free motorbike teams to help take drunk drivers at 160 local restaurants and beer stalls home. Most of the team members are staff of the restaurants and app-based motorbike services.

On this occasion, restaurants in Hoang Mai District signed a commitment to encourage customers who are drunk not to drive.

The police force will tighten control over alcohol use at local restaurants to violations.
