On Wednesday afternoon Nguyen Van Thai, 56, from Duong To Commune, Phu Quoc Island, and some others suddenly heard the call for help from a group of tourists, including three adults and two children, at Truong Beach.

Doctors said that Thai had died from exhaustion before being brought to the centre.
