Hai is staying at the National Institute of Hematology & Blood Transfusion for the treatment
By late 2021, Hai suddenly fainted and then faced long and high fevers. Many bruises also appeared on his skin. He was then diagnosed with leukaemia.
Hai underwent an allogeneic stem cell transplantation at the National Institute of Hematology & Blood Transfusion, with his brother as donor for the surgery.
After the surgery, Hai’s condition has considerably improved and he is expected to be discharged from hospital in the fortnight to come.
Nguyen Thi Hai Yen from the National Institute of Haematology and Blood Transfusion’s Social Work Department, said that thanks to the financial support from Dantri/DTiNews readers, Hai’s surgery had taken place. She hoped that with great efforts, Hai could overcome the disease.
