The torrential rain over the recent days has claimed two dead and three missing in the northern region of Vietnam.
Northern Vietnamese localities have been facing heavy rains, causing severe flooding, due to the impact of Storm Mulan.

Heavy rain floods many northern localities
At around 3 pm on Thursday, while going across Boi River, a 17-year-old man was swept away by floods. To date, he has remained missing.
On the same day, a four-year-old boy in Hoa Binh’s Lac Thuy District fell into a canal with the swift current and drowned. His body has been found.
Also on Thursday, a couple, Dinh Ngoc Huong, 38, and Dinh Thi Nguyet, 35 from Lac Thuy District fell into a local stream with a high water level. Nguyet was found dead, while Huong remains unaccounted for.
On Friday, a 15-year-old boy in Lao Cai was swept away by heavy rain. Rescue forces are still searching for him.
