A VND1.21 trillion (USD52.15 million) road which links Hanoi and the northern province of Vinh Phuc has been approved.
The project across the Red River starts from Trung Ha Commune in Vinh Phuc’s Yen Lac District and ends at Van Phuc Bridge in Hanoi’s Phuc Tho District.
The project’s investment will be from Vinh Phuc’s budget. Work on the project will be carried out in the 2023-2026 period.
Once put into operation, the road is expected to boost the socio-economic development of Hanoi and Vinh Phuc which are among localities in the key northern economic zone.
Vinh Phuc has also decided to spend VND134.64 billion to upgrade Road 307.
