Authorities in Quang Nam Province are searching for a young woman who lost contact with her family after working in Cambodia.

Police in Thang Binh District on Wednesday afternoon issued an announcement about their search for Hoang Thi Tri, 18, who disappeared after leaving her house in Binh Minh Commune for Cambodia to work.
According to the local police, the young woman left her home on March 21 and has not contacted her family since. Her mother, Nguyen Thi Lan, reported to the police that a human trafficking ring might have cheated Tri.
"We've asked police departments and concerned agencies nationwide to co-operate to look for Tri," Thang Binh Police said. "Anyone who has information about Tri can report to the nearest police department or ring 02353.874.203.
On July 12, Police in Quang Nam Province arrested Truong Cong Duy, 30, for allegedly trafficking seven local people to Cambodia.
Authorities in some central and central highlands provinces are investigating human trafficking scams linked to Cambodia targeting local young people.
Seven people in the Central Highlands province of Gia Lai were recently rescued after being trafficked to Cambodia to work at local casinos.
