Under the PM’s instruction, the Airports Corporation of Vietnam needs to begin construction of Terminal 3 in the third quarter of this year after the land is allocated.

The government leader asked the Ministry of Defence to co-operate with concerned agencies to hand over land for the project and the construction of a road connecting nearby roads with Tan Son Nhat International Airport in July.
The Ministry of Planning and Investment has been asked to work with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Defence to propose the capital source arrangement for the project this month.
ACV has to ensure the project goes into operation in September 2024.
Once operational, Terminal 3 can serve 20 million passengers per year.
