Her children often have to take advantage of the daylight to study at home because the only bulb is not enough.
H'Len said that her husband often gets drunk when returning home from work. At that time, he beats her even when their neighbours intervene.

When attacked by her husband, H'Len usually takes her children away from home. She said that when her husband is not drunk, he is very hard-working and cares about H’Len and their children.
The family’s difficulties have worsened when H’Len’s youngest child, three-year K- Ho, has been struggling with meningitis.
