
Rescue forces look for the missing visitors at Thien Cam Beach on July 4
According to a report by local authorities, a group of four visitors from Hanoi arrived at Thien Cam Beach to swim at 7.30 am on July 4. While swimming in an area some 40 metres from the shore, they were swept away in a rip current. Hearing their calls for help, some people rushed in and managed to save two.
"The woman aged 50 and her 13-year-old child were swept far away," the management board of Thien Cam Tourist Site said on Monday afternoon. "We recovered the body of the woman at 10 am while still trying to find the teenager."
